The sale packet for reptile breeders: online and at the table

Sell on proof, not promises.

Anyone can type “double het” into a listing. Clutchmark turns your record into a sale packet that shows buyers how far every claim is actually backed, before they ever message you.

How it works

Fill in one record. Get a page worth sharing.

  1. 01

    Fill in one record

Species, morphs, sex, hatch, weight, feeding status, parentage, your health-guarantee terms: the breeding records you re-type into every listing and DM, kept once.

  2. 02

    Get a page worth sharing

A buyer-ready packet with your photos, a lineage tree, met-only trust seals, and a price, or “Price on request.” A quiet completeness score points to the next field that would make it stronger. A nudge, never a gate.

  3. 03

    Send it anywhere

A link that unfurls with the animal's photo and details, and a QR you can print for the tub. No site to build, nothing to maintain.

The moat

Every claim, backed as far as your records go.

A buyer can’t see “het Clown” in a photo. Today they take your word for it, or ask for screenshots. Clutchmark shows them how far each claim is actually backed: a real linked parent, a recessive shown in an offspring, a logged prior owner, each step corroborated by your own records, never a “verified” stamp the platform can’t stand behind.

How far these claims are backed

Backed up to: Parent on record

Each step is corroborated by the breeder’s own records, not by Clutchmark. Higher steps mean more of the listing is backed by linked records, not just typed in.

  1. Listed by the breederOn record

Traits the breeder entered for this animal.

  2. Parent on recordOn record

At least one parent is a real linked record, not just a name.

  3. Shown in offspringNot yet

An in-system offspring of this animal visibly shows a recessive trait.

  4. Prior owner on recordNot on file

A previous owner transfer is logged in the ownership record.

Marigold looks wild-type. Recessive hets do; her linked records are the only visible difference. A linked ancestor is what moves the “Parent on record” step up the ladder, and when an ancestor is unknown, the tree shows an honest dashed “pending” node, never an invented one.

The weekend you sell

Build your expo table for the next show.

A drop is a curated page for an expo or release. Buyers tap to claim the one they want and see they're among the first in line, first come, first served. You flip each animal available, held, or sold from your phone. The whole table runs off one link, and every animal carries a printable QR that pulls up its live record. When one sells at the table, hand it off on the spot: the buyer scans a QR, signs in once, and walks away owning the record.

Your channels

It plugs into where you already sell.

Clutchmark isn’t a marketplace. It rides alongside the channels you already use. Share a link or a QR, and your animal arrives looking the part. We don’t want to own your buyers; your packet is a link and a QR you control.

The listing writes itself

Ready-to-paste copy for MorphMarket, Instagram, Facebook, and DMs, written from your record, so it never says more than your records back. And the link itself unfurls with the animal's photo, name, and status.

No fees on your sale

No listing to rank, nothing taken from a sale, no audience to move. Your animals, your channels.

Interest

Buyers reach out without leaving.

On any packet or drop, a buyer can say they're interested, ask a question, request a hold, or join the waitlist, no account needed to reach out. Every lead is captured and time-stamped from your first day, so a busy show weekend doesn't scatter who asked first across your DMs. The full inbox with each buyer's contact details comes with paid plans.

Retention

The handoff that makes it theirs.

When it sells, you hand off the record itself, not just a receipt: the care notes, the lineage, the whole packet move to the new owner, and your attribution stays on it. The buyer signs in once to accept. Then it's theirs to keep.

Bred by Marsh & Vale Reptiles, attribution stays on the record.

  1. Step 1

Hand over the full record with your care notes attached.

  2. Step 2

Ownership moves to the buyer. The animal arrives with its whole story.

  3. Step 3

The page stays live with your name on it, linked to your breeder page. Whoever scans that QR next still finds the breeder who started the line.

For the buyer, the loop closes too. From then on the animal lives in their collection: every animal they own, transferred-in and bred alike, with its lineage and ownership record in one place.

Trust is free

Trust is never for sale.

Every badge, every field, and the photo lineage tree are free for every breeder, on every plan. Paid plans add room to grow and pro-grade paperwork (pedigree certificates, designed QR table cards and tub labels, VIP drop pages) from $9/mo billed annually. They never change how trustworthy your packet looks to a buyer.

Cancel any time. Your buyers never see a change. The packets and printed QR codes for animals you've sold keep working for their new owner.

FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Is Clutchmark a marketplace?

No. Clutchmark is a sale-packet and expo/drop tool. It rides alongside wherever you already sell: Instagram, Facebook groups, MorphMarket, DMs, your expo table. It doesn't list, rank, or take a cut of your sale.

What does it cost?

Free to start: no card required. Every buyer-facing trust signal (every badge, every field, the photo lineage tree, the sale-packet score, and the full ownership transfer with care notes) is free for every breeder, on every plan. Buyers can always reach out free, and every lead is kept time-stamped from day one; seeing each buyer's contact details is part of paid plans. Paid plans add room to grow and pro-grade paperwork (pedigree certificates, designed QR table cards and tub labels, VIP drop pages) from $9/mo billed annually. They never change how trustworthy your packet looks to a buyer.

What happens to my pages if I cancel?

Nothing changes for your buyers. The packets and printed QR codes for animals you've sold or transferred keep working for their new owner. Over-limit animals on your side simply become read-only until you free a slot or upgrade.

Do buyers need an account to ask about an animal?

No. From any packet or drop a buyer can say they're interested, ask a question, request a hold, or join your waitlist with no account, and every one is captured and time-stamped from day one, so a busy show weekend doesn't scatter who reached out across your DMs. Reading who they are and replying from the inbox comes with paid plans.

What does “proven, not just claimed” actually mean?

Anyone can type a morph into a listing. Clutchmark shows a buyer how far each claim is backed by your own records (a real linked parent, a recessive shown in an offspring, a logged prior owner), step by step. We never add a “verified” stamp we can't stand behind, and an unknown ancestor shows as an honest “pending,” never invented.

What happens after I sell an animal?

You hand off the record itself: the care notes, lineage, and whole packet move to the new owner, and your name stays on it as the breeder who started the line. The buyer signs in once to accept, then it lives in their collection.

Can I use it at an expo?

Yes. Build a drop (a curated page for a show or release). The whole table runs off one link, and every animal gets its own printable QR. Buyers tap to claim the one they want and see they're among the first in line, and the same link works in a DM the second someone asks.

Does it only work for ball pythons?

Ball pythons and leopard geckos are both fully supported today. The packet, photo lineage tree, and ownership transfer work identically for each. Morphs and traits are always your own words on the record, and we never auto-fill a claim your records don't back.

I already track my collection in another app. Do I have to switch?

No. Keep whatever you track in. Clutchmark is the buyer-facing side: one polished packet per animal, built to be sent in a DM, scanned at a table, and handed off with the animal when it sells.

Start your first sale packet.

Add an animal, and you have a packet worth sending, not a database to maintain. And the packet stays live for your buyer, free plan or paid.
